"Promote individual and corporate prayer, allowing the Holy Spirit to permeate our lives."

We as a church are learning how to not just be a church that prays but a church of prayer. The difference is becoming exponentially greater in how we live out our day to day lives for Christ and how we are able to serve the community around us. We are desiring to seek God in our quiet space daily and learning to hear his voice clearly as he speaks to us. Relationship only happens when communication is going both ways. Therefore, we seek to talk at God less and listen to Him more.

All are welcome to come, sit, soak and participate. Join us on this journey every:

Sunday 9:50 am - 10:30 am (pre-service prayer) as we gather on the lower level across from the Youth Room

Prayer Sets

Dear Friends of Valley View

The Apostle Paul called the church to pray. From his chains in Rome, he wrote to the church in Ephesus... And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

We pray because:

  • Prayer is essential to the stewardship of God's Creation

  • God desires to answer our prayers; -it is not God's heart to Refuse our prayers

  • God offers to keep on Answering (He invites us to continue to Ask, Seek & Knock)

  • God Desires to Give Us Good Gifts (He often gives us more and better, than we could hope for)

In this season, and as we move forward in serving God, we are determined to embed prayer as central to our life together! We believe that as we move forward, our impact on our community and the world will only be done with the strength and wisdom we desire from God, as we are supported in prayer by the whole body.  Plainly put, it is not enough for only a small part of our church family to be engaging in prayer for God's direction and leading in these times.

As such, we are inviting any and all who are able to join us in person Sunday mornings at 9:50 am. Come and join us as we take seriously the stewardship mandate over our part of God's creation. Experience what it is to observe God answering your prayers as you join us in asking seeking and knocking. And then celebrate as we experience the good gifts God pours out on His praying people.
You may chose to join us and not pray out loud... that's just fine!
